Bio
Rachee Singh is an assistant professor of Computer Science at Cornell University. Her research improves efficiency of data communication on server-scale, rack-scale, and long-haul photonic interconnects. Singh’s research group develops systems and algorithms that use these gains to improve the performance of distributed machine learning and large-scale cloud applications. Her work has won several awards, including the Amazon Research Award, the Cisco Research Award and the Google fellowship. Her PhD dissertation also won the SIGCOMM doctoral dissertation award. Rachee is equally passionate perfecting her home-baked croissant technique.
