Bio
Mina Konaković Luković is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a principal investigator in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) at MIT. Her research is mainly in computer graphics, with a focus on computational fabrication, geometry processing, physics-based simulation, and robotics. Prof. Konaković Luković develops novel algorithms for computational design and fabrication tools powered by differential geometry and machine learning. The applications of her work range from medical implants, over terrain-optimized robots, to architectural domes. Prior to starting the faculty position, Mina was a Schmidt Science Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT CSAIL. She earned her PhD in 2019 in the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
