Bio

Dr. Sander is an associate professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University. She graduated with her PhD from EECS at MIT. Her research focuses on novel ultrafast fiber laser sources and mid-infrared photothermal imaging. She received an AFOSR Young Investigator, NSF CAREER and a PECASE Award. She is an Optica fellow, senior SPIE and senior IEEE member.
